From Paris with Love heats up retro style with two new trailersWritten by the legendary Luc Besson, the highly anticipated and marketed action comedy From Paris with Love by Taken (2008) director Pierre Morel is gaining attention ahead of its February 5 US release with two new trailers meant for the French and American markets.

The story will revolve around embassy worker James Reece (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) and his unlikely mission partner, FBI agent Charlie Wax (John Travolta) as they are tasked with thwarting a terrorist attack in Paris.

Complete with a retro ’80s voiceover, the US trailer seems to be heavier on action than the French version:

Yet the French Red Band trailer has its own merits: it’s a delight to watch Travolta go berserk GTA-style in the name of stopping terror to the beats of gangsta rap… definitely worth a look:
