Abel Ferry’s feature debut Vertige is set to open in French cinemas June 24. The new horror thriller will take viewers on a bizzare ride with elements of Wrong Turn (2003), Calvaire (2004) and The Descent (2005), Cinema Fantastique reports.

A group of friends on vacation decide to venture onto a trail high up in the mountains that has been closed for repairs. The climb proves more perilous than planned, especially as they soon realize that they are not alone. The adventure turns into a nightmare.

The trailer and new stills are out, and wow – do they look good! We’ll be watching this one very closely.
